Hello my lovelies, how are we all today? I'm pretty excited because I have been seeing lots of bees out and about and it's now spring which meant it was time for us to get a crack on with our garden and clean out the bee water stations I have made over the years, it didn't take too long luckily. We popped to B&M and a local garden centre to grab some heather and other plants for the garden, I love heather its such an easy plant to grow and the bees and butterflies love it. I'm hoping they thrive in the spot we have planted them, they have already perked up over the last few days which is a relief.
The biggest issue right now is the mix in weather, some days it's glorious and you can just sit around in a t-shirt and other days I have to wrap up warm so I imagine that the plants will be struggling a little over the next few weeks. We picked up a plum tree and a Prunus nipponica which is a cherry tree blossom and I think I mentioned before how badly I wanted one of these, right now both trees have buds growing on them, and my blossom seems to be blooming much faster than I expected, I can't wait to show you all my the blossoms it produces.
We went to Porthpean the other day, it was a much-needed trip and the first one of this year, yes it's the same place Tom Holland and Zendaya stayed, in fact, we went past the house and I took the prettiest flower picture. My fiancé always hunts for sea glass for me when we go to the beach, and my jar of it is slowly growing, I may see if I can get my favourite one made into jewellery one day, I have so many to choose from as it is. Our actual first trip to the sea this year was Polly Joke beach but we didn't end up finding any sea glass there which was a shame, it was all mostly sand and the tide was out pretty far.
All in all, March has been a great month so far. I have started to lose weight again after being at a bit of a standstill. The scales haven't changed but you can tell from how loose my clothes are right now. One thing that's annoyed me as of late is a few remarks I received about being told I will just pile it all back on again so enjoy it while I can, some people can't be happy for anyone. On the positive side of things last night I took some beautiful images of the stars in the sky just like I did at the end of Feb. I said I wanted to do more astrophotography so it's going well right now. I just need to get a better tripod and luckily my friend Jas has recommended one to try and it comes in pink which will be perfect. I have more updates to come, I hope you will all stick around for more of my ramblings.
